Basic precautions during maintenance

The motorcycle EFI system is generally composed of three parts: the intake system, the fuel supply system and the electronic control system. These three parts are different in structure and left and right, so the precautions for each system are different. It is introduced as follows.


Intake system

Intake system中的空气流量计(也叫肯定压力传感器)和进气温度传感器等精细电控元件,只要发动机在清洁的环境下作业,一般情况下均不会产生故障。检修时只要查看进气管是否决裂、漏气,空气滤清器是否阻塞、损坏即可。对热敏式进气温度传感器而言,可在车上直接查看其电压值。当焚烧开关坐落“ON”方位时,传感器两端子间应有0.5-3.4V(20℃)的电压值。也可将进气温度传感器从车上拆下来,查看其电阻值。其查看办法是,逐渐升高水温,一起用万用表电阻档丈量传感器两端子的电阻值。如果超出表1规则的范围,就应该更换新的传感器。

Oil supply system

Oil supply system中的电磁喷油器是较为要害的高精度电控元件,电动燃油泵等是精细电控元件,必须在清洁的环境中作业。检修时首先应查看各衔接油管是否决裂、渗漏,燃油滤清器是否阻塞、损坏,必要时更换新件。在清洗车辆时要留意防潮,避免电控元件腐蚀、短路,如被水湿了要即便吹干。在检修过程中还要留意如下事项:


Electronic control system

Generally, the extra operating voltage of the computer ECU is DC low voltage (such as 5V), but some motorcycle computers have a voltage of about 10V to improve their anti-interference ability. The computer system is sensitive to high temperature and high pressure. When the external voltage is higher than the additional operating voltage of the computer system, or the external temperature is higher than the allowable value of the additional operating temperature, the computer will be damaged.
